Cedral in Paris - An Olympian weekend!

July 2024: What better way to wow your clients than sending them out to Paris for the Olympics. That's exactly what we did for Cedral and their client group and not only that we ensured they all had branded GB shirts to match!

Challenge:

We were asked to source and plan for a small group from construction client - Cedral and some key client guests, to experience a weekend in Paris. Not only that, it was to incorporate the Olympic opening ceremony and take in the Rugby 7s finals.

Plan and objectives:

  • 8 people - UK,

  • Paris, France

  • Return Travel (Eurostar)

  • Hotel Accommodation

  • Bespoke dining experience

  • Customised and branded GB shirts, official invitation and presentation boxes

  • Rugby 7s Finals at Stade Du France

Results:

Before sending our group out to Paris. We were tasked with designing and producing bespoke luxury invitations for the attendees, along with branded Team GB training tops to be sent in a branded presentation box.

We began the day of the event with news that travel had been disrupted across France, affecting Eurostar services due to protests. After a number of nail biting hours, fortunately our group were able to board the train and at a slow pace, get into Paris.

Wearing their branded GB training shirts, they were able to check in to their hotel for the weekend and then onto their bespoke dining experience at Le Grand Colbert. The following day it was off to the Stade Du France to enjoy all the action of the Rugby 7s finals. It included a win for the host nation and inevitably an amazing atmosphere and party vibe afterwards!

The final day, with weather much more suiting summer games. Our group were able to explore some of the sites of Paris and the Olympics before boarding the train to head back to the UK.

Thank you to all at Cedral, along with our amazing destination partners - Paris Key for this event. Let's discuss your next event in Paris, get in touch. We’d be more than happy to talk through it.
